When it’s too dang hot to keep the back yard squirrel- and bird-free, apparently it’s fun to peer out the living room windows and claim anything within eyesight as “my yard, my yard, my yard!!”.
Oh, my, those are some seriously Hobbit-y feet and dreadlock-ish ears! (Our dog groomer ended up in the hospital last week, so our poochies’ grooming appointment has been postponed until she’s back in business.)
It’s so hard to get close-up pictures of Annie, which makes the above photo even more special to me. She was so engrossed in staring at whichever varmint had caught her eye that she didn’t mind me getting in her space.
How convenient for Daisy that she can comfortably rest her chinny-chin-chin on the windowsill when she’s sitting on her haunches. She will sit like this for quite a long time.
People pay good money to get the kind of highlights Miss Daisy comes by naturally ;-). Those uber-blonde hairs are super fine in texture and spike up quite nicely . . . if I enjoyed dressing up our dogs like people, I could make a cute Pebbles ponytail out of those uber-blonde hairs!
